David Johnson, known as the World Famous Bushman, has been entertaining pedestrains along the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco since 1980. Johnson is an entertainer. He used to dress as a robot but found that too many other people were doing that. Now he hides motionless behind eucalyptus branches and waits for unsuspecting people to walk by. When they approach he jumps out and startles them.

He employs a bodyguard to protect him against attack by the unamused.
